Nukkad to Nation / Privacy policy
Privacy policy
This policy explains what Nukkad to Nation (“the game”, “we”) collects when you play, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Can I play without an account?
Yes. You can play as a guest. Guest careers, settings and achievements are stored only in your browser’s local storage on your device. Nothing about a guest career is sent to us, apart from anonymous usage statistics if analytics is switched on (see below).
What happens when I sign in with Google?
If you choose “Sign in with Google”, Google sends us your name, email address, profile picture and a unique account ID. We use them to create your player profile, keep your saves and achievements on every device you use, and show you on the leaderboard.
What do you store for signed-in players?
- Profile: name, email address, profile picture link, the date you joined and when you last played.
- Play statistics: sessions, time played, days you played, matches, wins, trophies, seasons, achievements and points, the type of career you are playing, your current team and chosen home country.
- Technical details: whether you play on a phone or a computer, your browser language and time zone.
- Saved games: the save files you choose to store online, including any crest or kit images you upload into the game.
What does the leaderboard show?
The public leaderboard shows your first name and the initial of your last name, your points, trophies, wins, matches and current team. It never shows your email address or picture. You can ask us to remove you from the leaderboard at any time.
How do you use this information?
- To run your account, sync your saves and award achievements.
- To understand how the game is played (for example how many people play each day and for how long) so we can improve it.
- We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Do you use analytics or cookies?
The game may use Google Analytics to count visits and in-game events such as sign-ins and matches played. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar identifiers. You can block them in your browser’s privacy settings and the game keeps working.
To let you play offline, your browser keeps a copy of the game’s files on your device. This copy contains no personal information. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.
Where is my data kept, and for how long?
Account data and online saves are stored with Google Firebase (Google Cloud). Google processes this data on our behalf under its own security and privacy terms.
We keep your profile and online saves while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile, leaderboard entry and online saves within 30 days. Saves in your browser stay on your device until you delete them from the Save page or clear your browser data.
What are my choices and rights?
You can sign out at any time, play as a guest, delete online saves from the Save page, and export your saves as files. To access, correct or delete your data, contact us at the contact address listed on this website. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as objecting to processing or complaining to a data protection authority.
Is the game for children?
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has signed in, contact us and we will delete the account.
Will this policy change?
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced in the game. See also our terms of use.
