Nukkad to Nation / Updates
Updates
What has changed in Nukkad to Nation, newest first.
Version 1.1, 29 October 2026
The game now opens on a main menu built for playing: you are one tap from a 3D match.
New ways to play
- A new main menu over a live 3D stadium, with Play now, Set up a match and a Match of the day.
- Quick matches between any of 20 national sides, the state and county teams and the franchise sides, from 2 overs to a Test, with your choice of ground, pitch and time of day.
- Online matches against anyone who is free, with rooms to play a friend. When nobody is free, a bot steps in and is named as a bot.
- Star XI, the card game: packs earned by playing, a squad with chemistry, Squad Battles, Rivals, objectives and ten divisions.
- Tournaments: a World Twenty, a World Fifty, a Champions Eight, the franchise leagues, bilateral series and custom tournaments, saved as you go.
In the middle
- Graphics levels from Low to Ultra, with real shadows, floodlight glow, a broadcast outfield and a worn, cracked pitch, plus automatic resolution on slower devices.
- More lifelike cricketers: faces, hair and kit that react to the light, smoother movement, idles between balls, and celebrations and huddles after wickets.
- A TV-style build-up with the toss in the middle, cameras between balls, slow motion on edges and near misses, and new graphics for fours, sixes, wickets and the chase.
- Crowd chants that build in a chase, a stump mic and a stadium DJ for T20 nights.
Fixes
- Run outs: the batter is out only when the bails come off, after the keeper or bowler takes the ball, and the stumps now break one at a time.
- Batters' arms no longer pass behind the body during shots, and drives are played standing tall.
- On phones, the game waits while a tip is on screen and while the phone is upright, and the button you need is always on screen.
